Anthony J. Gonnella
Anthony J. Gonnella is an Associate Attorney who works in our real estate practice group out of our Phoenix office, where he focuses on advising clients on a variety of transactional matters, including property purchase and sale transactions, real estate development, commercial leasing, and conventional and complex lending transactions. Anthony helps clients devise business solutions and advance their goals through deal negotiation strategy, preparing and revising purchase and sale agreements, leases, CC&Rs, and financing documents, and assisting with any other needs of developers, homebuilders, or commercial property owners.
In addition, he has a passion for sports law and helping clients handle issues concerning collegiate athletics name, image, and likeness, including athlete eligibility requirements, agency relationships and contracts, and marketing and sponsorship arrangements. Before joining the firm, Anthony was a Division I student-athlete and worked in the sports and entertainment industry, gaining experience in amateur and professional athletics operations. Because of his experience, Anthony is meticulous, diligent, and enjoys the challenge of gaining more knowledge in his clients’ fields to support any organizational need they may have.
Outside the office, Anthony enjoys staying active by playing early-morning pick-up basketball with a group of close friends or going on a hike.

Our real estate practice is one of the largest in the American West, including Arizona, California, Colorado and Nevada with experience in all aspects of the real estate development process, from due diligence, acquisition and finance, through land use permitting and entitlements, to leasing and sale.
